A modern, beautiful and healthy way to straighten teeth. Parliament Dental is proud to offer patients this revolutionary orthodontic system that allows teeth to move without metal.
You are probably familiar with traditional braces. They use metal brackets, glued to the teeth, with a wire connecting them. Invisalign is a completely different concept. This technique straightens teeth using a series of removable clear plastic aligners. They fit snugly over your teeth in a manner similar to an orthodontic retainer. The entire treatment is digitally planned. Each aligner brings your teeth a little closer to the optimal position, which takes two weeks. When you're done using one aligner, simply discard it and begin wearing the next aligner in the series.
Like most technologies, Invisalign has evolved for the better since its introduction. Invisalign now treats more patients with a wider range of conditions and severity of conditions. In addition to correcting mild cases of crooked and protruding teeth, Invisalign can treat more difficult dental problems that were previously only suitable for conventional metal braces.Invisalign treatment fits seamlessly into our foundation of next-generation technologies and biological approaches. Patients appreciate the fact that they can see what their teeth will look like after treatment. With 3D modeling, our team can show you what your teeth will look like at each stage of your treatment.

Invisalign is well known as the discreet alternative to braces. The aligners are clear and very thin, so most people never notice them. They can even be removed completely for photos or special occasions. However, this is just one of the many benefits of Invisalign orthodontics.
Traditional braces use a system of wires and brackets, which exert controlled pressure on your teeth to gradually align them, and you must see your dentist regularly for wire adjustments.
These adjustments add pressure to the teeth and ensure that the process goes as planned. Unlike Invisalign, only your dentist can remove conventional braces. These are therefore considered fixed braces.
Instead of using brackets and wires, Invisalign uses a series of clear, BPA-free plastic alignment trays to gradually move the teeth into proper alignment. These aligners can be removed to eat and cleaned. This reduces complications associated with traditional braces, such as gum disease, promoted by difficulty brushing and flossing between and around braces.
As Invisalign derives its power from these trays, it is essential that you wear them as advised. In general, you should not remove them for more than 2 hours a day. Not wearing these trays as recommended by your dentist can compromise the effectiveness of the treatment. Our team members will meet with you approximately every six weeks to ensure that treatment is progressing as planned. Generally, you will have a new set of trays every two weeks. Each set will be slightly different to gradually move your teeth according to your treatment plan.
