Preserve Your Oral Structures

It takes more than just brushing and flossing to maintain good oral health. Dental appliances can assist in preserving and protecting our oral structures for those of us who snore, clench or grind our teeth, or play sports.

We offer dental appliances that may be a suitable option for patients who need to relieve the discomfort caused by clenching and grinding. These guards can help distribute pressure more uniformly throughout the jaw.

We are also able to provide patients suffering from sleep apnea with CPAP. This may help reduce the symptoms of sleep apnea by pumping air into the lungs through the nose and mouth.

CPAP for Sleep Apnea

Sleep disorders can negatively affect your quality of life. They can disrupt your school or work performance, mental health and physical health.

Sleep apnea occurs when the throat muscles relax and block the airway, creating the sound of snoring as oxygen is forced past. This happens off and on many times during sleep and can cause many problems such as tiredness and high blood pressure.

At Parliament Hill Dental, we can provide patients with a CPAP device. This is a method of respiratory therapy where air is pumped into the lungs through the nose and mouth during the night so that you are not forced awake to breathe.

Custom-Fitted Mouth Guards

We offer custom-made mouth guards that fit over your teeth and are used to help protect the health of your oral cavity.

Sports Guards

If you get hit in the mouth during sports, a mouth guard can provide protection to your face, jaw, head and teeth.

Night Guards

If you grind your teeth or clench your jaw during sleep, a mouth guard will help protect your teeth and jaw from damage and discomfort.
